This site shows the English-language films playing in Thessaloniki, with Greek subtitles, for today and the next seven days. It covers the two Village Cinemas in the city and puts their programmes on one page.
Two cinemas, one list
We list these Village Cinemas in Thessaloniki:
- Village Mediterranean Cosmos
- Village Makedonia Mall
The data comes from Village's own booking pages. When Village adds a screening, it shows up here too.
How we find the English films
Village marks the films that it plays dubbed into Greek. We leave those out and keep the films that play in their original version.
Village does not mark the original language of a film, so we check the original title and, where we can, the film's IMDb entry. A film whose original title is in Greek letters stays off the list, and so does a new film that IMDb lists in another language. The check is not perfect. Once in a while a film in another language can slip through, so check the film on Village's site if you are not sure.
What each film card shows
- The original title, the poster and the running time
- An IMDb rating when one exists
- Which of the two cinemas plays it, and at what times
- The format of each screening: 2D, 3D or IMAX
How to use it
- Go to English movies in Thessaloniki.
- Pick a day. The dates start with today.
- Tap Mediterranean Cosmos or Makedonia Mall to see only one cinema.
- Filter by format, or search for a film by title.
- Tap a showtime. It opens the film's booking page on Village's site, with the cinema already chosen. Pick your session there.
Village's site has the prices and the free seats.
One tip
A film can play in 2D at one cinema and in 3D at the other. The format sits under each time, so check it before you book.
