This site lists films in English with Italian subtitles at four UCI cinemas in Rome. Open the page, pick a day, and you see every English screening at the UCI cinemas we follow.

The cinemas we follow

  • UCI Porta di Roma
  • UCI Roma Est
  • UCI Parco Leonardo
  • UCI Luxe Maximo

All four belong to UCI, and we read their programmes from UCI's own schedule. A screening makes the list when UCI marks its language as English and its subtitles as Italian. Nothing else gets in, so a dubbed version of an English film does not appear.

Reading a film card

Each card is one film. At the top you see the title, the running time, the age rating and, when we find it, the IMDb rating.

UCI uses Italian titles. If the Italian title is different from the English one, the card shows the English title first and the Italian one in small text under it. That way you can still recognise the film.

Under the title, each cinema has its own box with the times for that day. A small line under each time shows the format and "Italian subs".

Finding the right screening

  1. Go to English movies in Rome.
  2. Pick a date. You can look up to a week ahead.
  3. To see only one cinema, for example UCI Luxe Maximo, tap its name under Cinemas.
  4. Use the Format filter if you want one format only.
  5. Tap a time to open the UCI booking page.

You pay and pick seats on UCI's site.

A tip for Rome

The four cinemas have separate programmes. If a film is not on at the cinema nearest to you, clear the cinema filter. It may be on at one of the other three that evening.
