Łódź has two cinema chains on this site: Cinema City and Helios. Each has its own website and its own way of marking languages. We put their English-language shows with Polish subtitles on one page, so you can compare times without switching between two schedules.
The two cinemas

For Cinema City, we use the language details on each show. A show is listed when the original language is English, it has Polish subtitles, and it has no dubbing and no lektor (the Polish voice-over).
Helios marks each print with a short code. NAP stands for napisy, subtitles. DUB means dubbed, and LEK means lektor. We list the NAP shows and skip Polish productions. Helios does not say directly that a film is in English, so a subtitled French or Korean film could slip in. We check films against IMDb data and drop the ones we know are not in English, but treat the Helios side as a good guide, not a perfect one.
Telling the chains apart
Every cinema block on a film card carries a small badge, "cinemacity" or "helios". Because Łódź has both, a Source filter also appears on the page. Tap one chain to hide the other.
When the same film runs at both cinemas, you see one card for it, with a block for each cinema and its times inside.
What else is on the card
- The film's English or original title.
- An IMDb rating when one is available.
- The running time.
- Each showtime with its format and "Polish subs".
Cinema City shows can be 2D, 3D, IMAX, 4DX and more. Helios marks 3D shows.

A Cinema City time opens Cinema City's ticket page, and a Helios time opens bilety.helios.pl. You book and pay there. We do not sell tickets.
