This site lists the English shows with Polish subtitles at three cinemas in Katowice, for today and the week ahead. Dubbed shows and lektor shows stay off the list.

We read the schedules from each chain's own website. Times and booking links come straight from them.
How each chain marks English shows
Polish cinemas use three words for language. Napisy means subtitles, dubbing means Polish voices, and lektor means a single Polish voice-over on top of the original sound. You want napisy.
Cinema City gives full language details for every show: original language, dubbing, voice-over and subtitles. We list a show when it is English, has Polish subtitles and has neither dubbing nor lektor. That check is exact.
Helios is less detailed. Its shows carry a code such as NAP (napisy), DUB or LEK. We take the NAP shows and leave out Polish films, but Helios does not tell us the language of the film. We filter out films that IMDb data shows are not in English. Now and then a subtitled film in another language may still appear in the Helios list, so read the title before you book.
Getting around the page
Go to English movies in Katowice. At the top is a search box and a counter, then a row of dates from today to a week ahead.
Below that you have three sets of buttons:
- Cinemas lets you show only Punkt 44, Silesia or Helios Katowice.
- Format lets you keep only 3D, IMAX, 4DX or another screen type that is on that day.
- Source lets you choose cinemacity, helios or both.
Each film appears once, with its English or original title, IMDb rating when we have one and running time. Inside the card, each cinema has its own row of times. Every time also says "Polish subs".
Booking a ticket
Tap a showtime. For Cinema City you go to its ticket page for that show. For Helios you go to bilety.helios.pl. Seats and payment are handled there. We do not sell tickets and add nothing to the price.
