At CineStar Düsseldorf, some shows run in the original English, mixed in with the dubbed ones. This site collects the English shows on one page, so you do not have to open every film to check its language.
Where the listings come from
We take the schedule straight from CineStar. For each show, CineStar says which language the film is in and whether it plays as an original version. We keep the shows that are English and in the original version, and drop the dubbed ones. The result is a short list instead of the full programme.
The page covers eight days, today included. Pick a day and you see every English show at CineStar Düsseldorf for that date, grouped by film.
What each film card tells you
- The English title of the film, with the German title below when the two differ.
- An IMDb rating, when one exists.
- Running time and the German age rating (FSK).
- Every showtime that day, with the format and the subtitle language.
The subtitle note matters. A show marked OmU has German subtitles, and we print "German subs" under the time. A show marked OmeU has English subtitles, and we print "English subs". A plain OV show has no subtitle note. If you are learning German, an OmU show lets you hear English and read German at the same time.
Using the page
Start at English movies in Düsseldorf and choose a date. Use the format buttons to keep only 2D, 3D or IMAX shows. The search box filters by title as you type. A counter beside it shows how many films match out of the day's total.
When you find a time that works, tap it. You land on CineStar's ticket page for that show, where you choose seats and pay. We never handle the booking.
Good to know
We list one cinema in Düsseldorf today. If a film you want is missing, it may only be on in German this week, or CineStar has not published the times yet. New shows appear on the page once CineStar publishes them.
