Cluj-Napoca has two Cinema City cinemas, one at Iulius Mall and one at VIVO!. This site lists every English-language screening at both, with Romanian subtitles, for the next eight days. You see all the times on one page and book with one tap.
How the list is made
We read the programme of each cinema from the Cinema City Romania website, one day at a time. Cinema City records the language of every screening: the original language, any dubbing or voice-over, and the subtitles.
We keep a screening when the original language is English, it has no dubbing or voice-over, and it has subtitles. In Cluj-Napoca those subtitles are Romanian. Each time on our page carries the note "Romanian subs".
If a dubbed screening turns up, this check keeps it off the list.
What you see for each film
- The English title, as Cinema City lists it.
- The poster, which links to the film's page on the Cinema City site.
- The running time.
- An IMDb rating, when we can match the film.
- The times at Iulius Mall and VIVO!, each in its own block, with the format of each screening.
Getting a ticket
- Open English movies in Cluj-Napoca.
- Pick a day. The page starts on today and goes a week ahead.
- If you only want one cinema, tap Iulius Mall or VIVO!.
- Filter by format, for example IMAX or 4DX, when those are on the programme.
- Tap a time. The Cinema City ticket page opens on that screening.
You pay and choose seats on the Cinema City site. Prices and free seats are on the Cinema City site.
A short tip
With two cinemas, the date row is the fastest way to plan. Check a few days ahead before you decide, because a film can have more times at one cinema than at the other.
