At Cinema City in Bratislava, the same film can play dubbed in one hall and in English in the next. This site shows only the English-language screenings at the three Cinema City cinemas in Bratislava: Aupark, Eurovea and Polus.
How we find the English screenings
We read the programme from the Cinema City Slovakia website, one cinema and one day at a time. For each screening, Cinema City states the original language, any dubbing, any voice-over and any subtitles. We list a screening only when:
- the original language is English,
- there is no dubbing and no voice-over,
- and it has subtitles.
So every screening on the page plays in English with subtitles.
Slovak or Czech subtitles
In Bratislava the subtitles are usually Slovak. Some prints come with Czech subtitles instead. We read the subtitle language from each screening, not from the country, so the label under the time is correct for that print. Look for "Slovak subs" or "Czech subs" next to the time.
Film titles on the page are the English ones, so you can find a film by the name you know.
Using the Bratislava page
Go to English movies in Bratislava. It shows today first. The date row lets you check up to a week ahead.
The three cinemas share one list. To see one of them, tap its name, for example Eurovea. Tap Aupark too if either one works for you.
Cinema City shows films in several formats, such as 2D, 3D, IMAX, 4DX and VIP. Pick one in the format filter to hide the rest. The search box finds a film by title.
Each film card shows the poster, the running time and an IMDb rating when we find one.
Booking
Tap a showtime and the Cinema City ticket page opens on that screening. You choose seats and pay there. We do not sell tickets, so prices and free seats are only on the Cinema City site.
