This site shows you every English-language film playing in Aarhus over the next eight days, on one page. It covers three cinemas: Vue Bruun's, Aarhus Bio and Øst for Paradis. You see the film, the cinema and the showtimes, and you tap a time to book.
Where the listings come from
The Aarhus page reads the programme from kino.dk, the Danish cinema guide that lists screenings for cinemas across the country. We take the screenings for Aarhus and keep only the ones in English.
Danish cinemas tag each screening with its language. A screening tagged "Engelsk" plays with English audio, so we list it. A screening tagged "Dansk tale" plays with Danish audio, so we leave it out.
What "Dansk tekst" means
The Danish subtitle tag is Dansk tekst. You hear the original actors and read Danish text at the bottom of the screen. Each showtime on our page carries a small label such as "Danish subs", so you know before you book.
A screening tagged Engelsk tekst has English subtitles, and the page says "English subs" for it.
How to use the Aarhus page
- Go to English movies in Aarhus. It starts with today.
- Pick another day if you want. You can look up to a week ahead.
- Tap a cinema name to see only that cinema, for example Øst for Paradis.
- Filter by format, such as 2D or 3D, when the programme has more than one.
- Search by title if you already know the film.
- Tap a showtime. The booking page opens, and you buy the ticket there.
Each film card shows the poster, the running time, the age limit and an IMDb rating when one exists. Prices and free seats are on the booking page. This site sells no tickets.
Good to know
With three cinemas, some days have only a few English films. Check the next days in the date row. The page reads kino.dk again each time you open it.
